About Brad Stipp

Brad Stipp has over 42 years of experiences as a financial advisor.  He started his career with Smith Barney (now Morgan Stanley) in 1984 and was there until 2010. He transitioned to LPL Financial and introduced Stipp Wealth Management, LLC as Founder and Wealth Manager.

While at Smith Barney, Brad held the designations of Investment Management Specialist, Financial Planning Specialist, and was qualified as a Portfolio Manager under the firm’s Portfolio Management and Guided Portfolio Management programs. He also held roles as Municipal Bond coordinator, Insurance/Annuity coordinator, and as Consulting Group (managed money) coordinator. Brad holds the General Securities (Series 7), State of NC Securities (Series 63), and Investment Advisor (Series 65) securities registrations through LPL Financial and he has his NC Insurance/Annuity license.   Brad just completed a three-year term on the LPL Ambassador Council.  He is a current member of both the LPL Research Council and the LPL Alumni Advocacy Group.
 

Brad graduated from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill in 1979 where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree.

Brad has been involved with Myers Park Trinity Little League and YMCA basketball. He and his family are members of Covenant Presbyterian Church where Brad currently serves on the Church Endowment Investment Committee.  Brad also serves as President of the Charlotte Chapter of the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School.  He is a volunteer docent at the Sullenberger Aviation Museum.  Brad is a Hole Captain of the 17th hole of the Truist Golf Championship and the 2017 and 2025 PGA Championships at Quail Hollow Club.  He is a FINRA approved arbitrator.
 
Brad and his wife, LeAnne, have 4 grown children and five grandchildren. They also have a 4-legged canine member of the family named Titus.
